As the Senior Engineering Manager for DevOps Enablement, you’ll lead the charge in building reliable, scalable systems that power Best Buy’s Retail Media Network (RMN). Your work will directly impact how ads are delivered and campaigns executed, ensuring smooth, efficient operations across our AdTech ecosystem. If you love solving complex problems, mentoring talented engineers, and driving DevOps excellence, this role is for you.

This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

What you’ll do
  • Lead DevOps strategy across RMN squads to improve reliability and CI/CD maturity
  • Drive adoption of tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform
  • Partner with teams to enhance observability and deployment readiness
  • Oversee production readiness and rollback planning for releases
  • Collaborate with support teams to automate monitoring and improve efficiency
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Basic qualifications
  • 6 years in DevOps, IT operations, or software engineering
  • 2 years in technical leadership or engineering management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 6 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment planning
  • Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Preferred qualifications
  • 8 years in DevOps or software delivery
  • 3 years in engineering management or program leadership
  • 1 year of experience with AdTech, MarTech, or Retail Media Networks
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks like CAB and rollback planning
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
